There's been a lot of excitement in Student Council this winter! At the end of November, STUCO hosted a monetary food drive with a school-wide goal of $1,000. As an incentive, students were promised a movie day if the goal was met by November 23.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of students and staff, the school raised a total of $1,850—nearly doubling the original goal. To celebrate, each classroom enjoyed a movie day. The senior class contributed the most to the fundraiser and was rewarded with snacks provided by Student Council.

Newark High School is proud to support families in need and give back to the community.

Throughout the year, Student Council organizes events and initiatives that bring students together and strengthen both the school and the surrounding community. Its mission is to create a more connected, involved, and positive school environment.
